Custom Made Adapted Girl’s Blouses, Skirts, Pants and Dresses

Zooportnews is Cover Up Shop’s brand for girl’s clothing. These designs have helped many girls with limited dexterity or impaired mobility return to or continue independent dressing. The buttons are sewn over the hidden, easy to use, Velcro® or magnetic closures so that your clothing looks like normal buttoned or zipped clothing.

You can choose any of the fabrics on our “Fabric Selection” page. And please remember, if you don’t see a favorite color or a pattern you like, contact me and I will do my best to find something you will love!

“Patsy Pansy” Jumper

This adorable little jumper is baby corduroy. The straps cross over each other on the back. It has a pleated pocket on front trimmed in pansy piping. This jumper is 100% cotton but you can choose any 2 offered fabric to change the look of this dress. Click here for FABRIC CHOICES. Although it is not shown in this picture, on the adapted version of this jumper, the front has aVelcro® adapted button placket front for easy access. Straps are secured by a Velcro® tabs.

Adapted “Amelia” Jumper Dress

The Amelia Jumper Dress is a classic. The straps open and close with Velcro® at the top of the shoulder. Choose back or front opening. If front opening, there will be a Velcro® adapted button placket down the entire front for easy self dressing. Back opening is a zipper for assisted dressing. “The Basics Rib Knit Tee”

The Basics can be worn by themselves or under her favorite dress, jumper or skirt. They are ohhh so comfy. We offer the top in Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve. The Short Sleeve Tee has one narrow ruffle on the sleeve and the Long Sleeve Tee has two rows of ruffles on the wrist. Choose front, back Velcro® closure or not adapted. Stone, Chocolate Brown, Oatmeal, Olive Green and Cranberry. 1 x 1 Knit Rib. Fabric is 95% Cotton and 5% Spandex. Very easy care.

Dressed up Jean Skirt

This is such a cute skirt. A little on the Wild Child side but still girly enough to capture ooohs and aaahs! The Ruffled Blue and Ruffled Pink are embellished with cotton gauze ruffles and a belt to match. The Blossoms and Bling is embellished with floral organza ruffles and flower shaped bling. Or a little more on the wild side, we offer an Animal print. Pair this skirt up with a long sleeve tee and a pair of leggings or tights and it’s all set for any weather anywhere you live. The Skirts are adapted with a Velcro® closure which replaces the zipper. Bow is tied and has a Velcro tab to hold it closed.

Flower Button Coat

What an adorable cuddly coat this is. She will feel so special in this coat. Warm and cute, could you ask for more! This coat is made with anti pill fleece and is completely lined with a flannel backed satin. There a two godet panels in front and two in the back which make this a very full coat. The collar is trimmed with a dual color wave edging. The button holes are a cute little rose like flower edged with the same dual color wave edging as the collar. Choose from Pink, Purple, Blue, Red* or Brown* (*Not shown) Size 4, 5, 6 have raglan sleeves and size 2 has set in sleeves.

The front of the coat has magnets under the Flower Buttons for easy and secure closing. If split back is chosen, it will have a Velcro® closure. If you choose open panels, the back will be one piece above the panels. (panels start just above waistline)
